The Arab Quarterly is London's prestigious and truly unique Arabic music and dance stage show taking place every quarter at the historic Islington Assembly Hall. The Arab Quarter Band comprises highly gifted professional musicians in Chalf Hassan, George Dergham, Emile Bassili and El Gamal Elkordy. Their knowledge and capacity to play from a huge repertoire is unrivalled and special. Setting the stage aflame with music of great passion and a haunted beauty, our beautiful solo dancers grace their music with charm and elegance.
The Arab Quarter Dance Company and invited groups bring extra flavour and variety to this exceptionally artistic and delightful evening. The atmosphere is relaxed yet elegant with cabaret seating and a full bar open all evening. The evening is generous and warm, with a chance for the audience to dance on the beautiful sprung floor below the stage in both halves of the programme!
The Arab Quarterly is sophisticated and also fun and inclusive! This will be our fourteenth Arab Quarterly!
